CoFest 2026 UPJ Fosters Creativity Among Students and High Schoolers in Jabodetabek

Collaboration Festival (CoFest) 2026 Universitas Pembangunan Jaya successfully attracted hundreds of participants from university students and high school students in Jabodetabek. Through a series of seminars in collaboration with creative industry practitioners such as Female Daily Network, W Brand Consultant, and KitaBisa, CoFest 2026 drew 820 seminar attendees. Additionally, competitions such as the Kids Coloring and Drawing Competition and Photography Competition were attended by 175 participants, predominantly from South Tangerang and Jakarta, ranging from kindergarten to high school. The event also featured a Content Creation Workshop for high school students. The enthusiasm continued with the CoFest Music Concert held on May 22, 2026, which attracted over 900 spectators filling the concert area and creating a vibrant atmosphere from start to finish. Performances by Sore Ze Band and Berdendang Ria successfully delivered a series of songs greeted enthusiastically by the audience, a sentiment also felt by the performers. ‘The CoFest vibe is amazing, like a big festival. Hopefully it continues to grow and become a more creative platform for young people,’ commented Sore Ze Band after their performance. Similarly, Faris, a speaker at the CoFest 2026 Seminar, emphasised the importance of finding one’s unique identity in the creative industry: ‘The key to surviving in the creative industry is finding your own uniqueness, as we must have a distinctive difference from others.’ The Collaboration Festival (CoFest) is an annual event organised by the Communication Studies Program of the Faculty of Humanities and Business at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya since 2015. For over a decade, CoFest has consistently served as a platform for young people to expand networks, develop creativity, and channel innovative ideas through inspiring programs relevant to the creative industry’s development.
