Clubbers nabbed in police raids

JAKARTA: Fifteen people were arrested for suspected drug use
during raids on two night spots by the officers from the West
Jakarta Police and the West Jakarta Tourism Office on Saturday
night.

Liputan6.com reported 15 people were detained at Tamansari
police station for further investigation after they showed signs
of being under the influence of prohibited drugs.

The tourism agency, which took part in the raid, issues
operating licenses to nightclubs in the area.

Previously, the officers raided several inner-city areas that
were suspected drug dealing centers. -- JP
