Closure of Platforms 6-8 at Bogor Station Postponed, Still Usable by Passengers
BOGOR, KOMPAS.com - The closure of platforms 6 to 8 at Bogor Station has been postponed because preparations for passenger access are still underway.
Bogor Station Head, Mardiono, said that during the preparation phase, tracks 6, 7, and 8 can still be used by passengers.
“Because we are still in the preparation stage. So it is still possible to use tracks 6, 7, and 8,” Mardiono told Kompas.com when contacted on Monday (13/4/2026).
“The creation of a temporary passenger flow area and the construction of access for equipment and materials continue,” he explained.
He stated that the planned closure of the platforms will take place on Monday (20/4/2026) after the passenger access construction is completed.
Previously, the garden area at Bogor Station, located on the right side from the direction of the tap in/tap out at the West Gate, has been converted into a pathway for electric rail commuters (KRL) on Sunday (12/4/2026).
This change is being carried out in conjunction with the project to extend platforms 6, 7, and 8 as well as the KRL track.
The fence that had been removed is now covered with white panels on the garden side.
