Closing PKN 2026, GP Ansor sets out blueprint for national leadership
The Central Board of Gerakan Pemuda Ansor has concluded the 11th National Leadership Training (PKN) for 2026 at the Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, East Java, which is expected to produce a blueprint for national leadership.
Chairman of GP Ansor, Addin Jauharudin, asserted that cadre development is the organisation’s anchor and a space for realising new organisational dreams amidst changing times and the diversity of its cadres.
“Ansor is an open home, we can shape any dream. An organisation is where hopes gather. Going forward, all Ansor instruments and structures must emerge with new capabilities,” Addin said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.
In encouraging cadre capacity, Addin underlined that the main key to economic prosperity is the quality of human resources. Concretely, he instructed the structural ranks to massively build independent training schools to create new jobs.
“There should be no idle land or unemployed people. We must manage all assets to their maximum potential. That is the function of leadership,” Addin stated.
Echoing Addin, Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Aminuddin Ma’ruf, who is also an Ansor cadre, emphasised that every major transformation must be rooted in integrity of intent and sharpness of vision.
Quoting QS. Ar-Ra’d verse 11, he dissected how institutions like SOEs have undergone radical streamlining, simplifying their portfolio from 1,074 entities to around 281 entities by 2026 for the sake of efficiency and lean governance.
“A large organisation must not get trapped in internal bureaucratic complexity that obscures its primary mandate. The same applies to GP Ansor,” Amin remarked.
The 11th National Leadership Training for 2026 was held at the Bumi Sholawat Progresif Islamic Boarding School in Sidoarjo, East Java, from 6 to 12 July 2027. The training was officially closed at the Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, which will serve as the venue for the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Congress.
