The monetary agencies are working on the execution of a
government decree (PP) concerning bank liquidation. On a whole,
this matter may not interest the general public but the case of
bank liquidation is closely related to bank clients. If a bank is
liquidated, it is the customers who are directly affected.

In the case of Bank Summa, for instance, the clients found it
difficult to withdraw their money. They had to wait a long time.
Therefore, monetary authorities like the Central Bank should give
greater attention to the interests of customers in working on
regulations concerning bank liquidation. It is not fair if Bank
Indonesia is defending the bank management.
