Cleaning of Places of Worship: Pejuang Mushola and Artha Graha Peduli Undertake Social Action in Pademangan
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The spirit of mutual assistance and social concern was once again realised through a collaboration between Pejuang Mushola and Artha Graha Peduli (AGP). On Wednesday (25/2/2026), the two parties jointly carried out a cleaning activity at the Al Muhajirin mosque, located on Jl. Pesanggarhan VI, RT 6/RW 12, Pademangan Timur, Ancol, North Jakarta.
Since early morning, volunteers from Pejuang Mushola and AGP worked together to clean the inside and outside of the mosque, starting from the main prayer room, the ablution area, to the surrounding environment. This activity is a real manifestation of their shared commitment to maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of places of worship, which serve as centres of spiritual and social activity for the community.
Not only focusing on the cleanliness of the mosque, AGP also presented a ‘Pasar Murah’ programme for essential goods for the local community. This programme was enthusiastically welcomed by residents who took the opportunity to obtain basic necessities at affordable prices, as a form of real support in helping to ease the economic burden.
In addition, through its health service programme, Arthakes AGP also provided free health checks for residents. This service allows people to have their health checked directly as a preventive measure and as a form of attention to the welfare of the surrounding community.
The Head of the Pejuang Mushola Programme, Nadya Laras Ayu, stated that her organisation pays great attention to mosques and their administrators as the main focus of the programme.
“We see that the mission of Pejuang Mushola is in line with AGP’s programmes, such as ‘Pasar Murah’ and free health checks through Arthakes, which directly target the community. Moreover, AGP has been fostering residents in this area for a long time, so the collaboration between Pejuang Mushola, AGP’s ‘Pasar Murah’, and Arthakes’ free health check services can run well and provide real benefits,” she said.
Appreciation was also expressed by the Head of RT 6, Daryono, who welcomed the presence of the two organisations in his neighbourhood. According to him, the mosque has an important role as a centre for community togetherness.
“Alhamdulillah, the mosque here is active and a place for residents to gather. Especially during the month of Ramadan, people come more often to worship and strengthen ties. Thank you to Pejuang Mushola and Artha Graha Peduli,” said Daryono.
This collaboration reflects a holistic approach—not only paying attention to the feasibility of places of worship, but also the social and health needs of the community. In the future, Pejuang Mushola and Artha Graha Peduli are committed to continuing to expand collaboration in various social programmes to support the quality of life of the community and strengthen the values of mutual assistance in various regions.
