Clean-up fraud
Clean-up fraud
From Warta Kota
In connection with the claim by certain parties -- Indonesia
Asri, Jakarta Asri and the Indonesia-Australia Action Committee
(IACT) -- that the Clean Up Indonesia/Indonesia Bersih program is
part of their activities, I must clarify the matter as follows.
Clean Up Indonesia/Indonesia Bersih is fully under the
auspices of Yayasan Indonesia Bersih (the Clean Up Indonesia
Foundation) and has no relationship whatsoever with the other
parties.
The launch of the activity in Panaruban, Subang, on June 25,
and the Clean Up Indonesia Day program at Gelora Bung Karno on
Aug. 8, are solely activities of Clean Up Indonesia/Indonesia
Bersih.
In regard to fundraising, Clean Up Indonesia/Indonesia Bersih
has never asked for cash donations from donors and no clean up
activities will take place from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19.
The inclusion of the names of Hanafi Sofyan Guciano, Rizki
Salamun and M. Tech in the IACT/Indonesia Asri team is illegal
because it was done without permission of the persons concerned.
Therefore, I would like to warn the public to watch out for
such fraudulent fund-raising activities.
