Ciwandan Port provides priority zone for vulnerable Eid travellers
Cilegon (ANTARA) - The presence of a priority buffer zone at Ciwandan Port in Cilegon City, Banten, is considered highly beneficial in providing comfort to vulnerable Eid travellers during the 2026 Eid transportation period. Motorbike traveller Siti (32), in Cilegon on Thursday early morning, admitted she was greatly helped by the special lane facility because she is pregnant and will be travelling to Lampung. “Praise be to God, I am very helped by this facility. Because I am pregnant, the officers just now directed our motorbike to the priority lane and prioritised us to enter the ferry,” she said. According to her, travellers in the priority area will receive service conveniences and are ensured to always be prioritised during the process of entering the ferry deck. “Coordination with ferry operators, port authorities, security apparatus, and related agencies is also continuously strengthened to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles during the 2026 Eid transportation period,” said Benny. Benny also urged service users to follow the directions of officers and prepare their journeys well so that the crossing runs safely. His side also ensures that the latest information regarding port operations will be continuously updated periodically during the post period.
