Civil Service Police Seal White Rabbit Nightclub in North Jakarta over Drug Trafficking
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) sealed the White Rabbit nightclub at Golf Island, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) Block C No. 28–30, Kapuk Muara Ward, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, on Thursday (23/4/2026).
The sealing involved installing banners and stickers as signs of closure and cessation of business activities.
“Banners and stickers for the closure/cessation of business activities at White Rabbit have been installed,” stated Henny Yusfida, Head of Investigation and Internal Affairs Section of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, when contacted by Kompas.com via WhatsApp on Friday (24/4/2026).
The sealing of White Rabbit is related to developments in a case uncovered by the Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency regarding narcotics at night entertainment venues.
“At the end of March 2026, the Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency uncovered a narcotics distribution case linked to activities at night entertainment venues. As part of the case development, searches were conducted at several White Rabbit business locations, one of which was in PIK,” she explained.
Following this, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government conducted supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of White Rabbit PIK through the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency.
“From the supervision and evaluation results, it was found that White Rabbit PIK’s business activities violated Article 54 of the Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 18 of 2018 on the Implementation of Tourism Businesses,” said Henny.
Due to this violation, the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency proposed the revocation of the business permit.
This enforcement is a form of the local government’s commitment to ensuring business activities run in accordance with legal provisions.
“Enforcement against businesses violating regional regulations/governor regulations is a form of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s commitment to creating public order and community tranquillity, as well as ensuring all business actors conduct their activities in accordance with applicable legal provisions,” added Henny.
