There have been many suggestions about raising civil servants'
salaries. However, some argue that an increase will only trigger
inflation. Also, the House of Representatives' idea to cut the
number of civil servants by 1.5 million is understandable. With
the cut bureaucratic procedures can then be simplified.

The government should consider giving civil servants
allowances in the form of nine basic commodities. If they have an
excess of commodities they could sell them on the free market.
This would help lower market prices, which would benefit society.
