Civil Servants Prepare to Check Accounts! 13th Salary to Be Paid Next Month, Here's the Amount
Civil servants (ASN) will receive additional income. The government confirmed the 13th salary will be paid as early as June 2026.
The policy is outlined in Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026, signed by President Prabowo Subianto on 3 March 2026. The 13th salary is granted as recognition for civil servants’ service to the nation and to boost public purchasing power and support national economic growth.
“Thirteenth salary as referred to in Article 2 shall be paid no earlier than June 2026,” states Article 15 Paragraph 1, cited Sunday (24/5/206).
However, if payment is not made in June 2026, disbursement can still occur after that month. This is stipulated in Article 15 Paragraph 2.
What will be the amount of the 13th salary for civil servants?
According to the same regulation, the ASN 13th salary consists of base salary plus various allowances, including family allowance, food allowance, position or general allowance, and performance allowance.
Article 9 Paragraph 1 explains that the Eid allowance and 13th salary funded by the State Budget for civil servants, PPPK personnel, TNI soldiers, Indonesian National Police members, state officials, public broadcasting institution leaders, and non-civil servant staff at public broadcasting institutions comprise (a) base salary, (b) family allowance, (c) food allowance, (d) position or general allowance, and (e) performance allowance, based on rank, position, job level, or class.
Meanwhile, Article 9 Paragraph 2 states that the 13th salary funded by the Regional Budget for civil servants and PPPK personnel includes (a) base salary, (b) family allowance, (c) food allowance, (d) position or general allowance, and (e) additional income up to the maximum received in one month for regional institutions providing extra income, considering regional fiscal capacity and in accordance with applicable regulations, based on rank, position, job level, or class.
