Jakarta – The relocation of civil servants (ASN) to Nusantara Capital is part of the national strategic agenda to operationalise government administration at IKN.

The relocation requires support from an integrated, reliable digital system aligned with cross-agency business processes to ensure that data collection, verification, placement, and monitoring of civil servants operate in an orderly, accurate, and accountable manner.

The relocation of ASN to IKN is being conducted through the Civil Servant Relocation to Nusantara Capital Application. The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) is collaborating with the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) through the Deputy for Digital Government Transformation and the State Personnel Board (BKN) to conduct a Bootcamp for Updating the Civil Servant Relocation to Nusantara Capital Application on 24-27 February 2026.

The objective is to align business processes, update features, strengthen data integration, and simulate end-to-end workflows before the next implementation phase.

Acting Deputy for Government Digital Transformation at the Ministry of PANRB, Cahyono Tri Birowo, stated that the government must resolve internal government administration issues in order to deliver external impact in the form of optimal public services.

“The transformation of government governance has become a fundamental requirement that must be supported by inclusive public services and integrated digital government transformation,” he said, as cited in the KemenPANRB release on Saturday (28 February 2026).

Deputy for Information Systems and Digitisation of ASN Management at BKN, Jumiati, stated that complete, current, accurate, and up-to-date data and records determine legal certainty and service accountability. There is a need to adjust and update business processes and features in the Civil Servant Relocation Application to align with implementation requirements in the field, policy dynamics, housing readiness, and ASN data integration from BKN and sending agencies.

“Therefore, an application that is structured and coordinated across agencies is needed to minimise the risk of data misalignment,” she said.
