Civil servants given long vacation

SEMARANG: Civil servants in Central Java could take their Idul
Fitri holidays between Nov. 13 and Nov. 21, a senior government
official said here on Wednesday.

All government employees had to return to their offices by
Nov. 22, and those who had no legitimate reason for skipping work
that day would be punished, said Agus Utomo, an official from the
communication office of the Central Java provincial
