Civil servants and PPPK staff eligible for 30-year mortgage scheme in Tangerang, Bogor and Yogyakarta
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) and the Indonesian Civil Servants Corps (KORPRI) have launched a housing programme for civil servants (ASN). The initiative is a collaboration with state-owned Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) as the housing finance partner.
Currently, only 22% of the 6.7 million civil servants own homes. The programme aligns with the government’s target to build three million homes for ASN. The mortgage scheme offers a 30-year repayment term.
Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, Chairman of the National KORPRI Board and Head of BKN, stated the housing programme will commence in Cisoka (Tangerang), Ciseeng (Bogor), and Yogyakarta. Local governments can participate, with BKN ready to facilitate.
‘If local authorities have land, this programme can be facilitated with BTN, BSI, and BPD to build KORPRI housing,’ Zudan said, quoted on Friday, 29 May 2026.
Zudan emphasised this move is part of BKN’s efforts to ensure Indonesian civil servants can own homes. He confirmed the programme is open to PPPK staff and even probationary civil servants (CPNS).
In addition to non-subsidised housing finance, civil servants can access subsidised schemes through collaboration with BP Tapera and the Home Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) mechanism.
Under this scheme, civil servants can secure affordable monthly instalments starting from around Rp1 million, aiming to reach younger and middle-ranking staff.
