Civil Servant Reserve Component Cadets Undergo Combat Simulation Training at Atang Sendjaja Air Base

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Cadets from the Reserve Component (Komcad), consisting of civil servants (ASN) from various ministries, underwent combat simulation training as part of the Basic Combat Techniques Field Practice, on Thursday (14/5/2026).

Head of the Indonesian Air Force Public Information Service (Kadispenau), Air Marshal TNI I Nyoman Suadnyana, stated that the training was organised by Wing Pendidikan 300 and held in the Tigin Priyatna shooting range area of the Atang Sendjaja Air Base, Bogor, West Java.

“This field practice aims to improve basic military skills, build esprit de corps, and instill a sense of discipline, responsibility, and loyalty as part of the National Reserve Component,” said Nyoman, as quoted from the Indonesian Air Force’s press release in Jakarta, Friday (15/5/2026).

He explained that the cadets practiced various materials related to basic combat techniques, such as tactical movement, self-defence techniques, teamwork, and procedures for handling situations in the field.

The entire series of activities was guided by professional instructors and trainers to ensure that the participants understood the material.

Through this activity, Nyoman hopes that all Komcad ASN cadets will have the necessary mental and physical readiness, as well as good basic skills, to support the task of defending the country.
