Citycare Property Cuts Onboarding Time and Streamlines HR Processes with Boomi
Boomi assists a New Zealand infrastructure company in modernising employee management processes, unifying data across systems, and accelerating new employee onboarding.

This has resulted in shorter onboarding times, improved data quality, and increased employee satisfaction.
Citycare Property is a New Zealand social infrastructure organisation that provides essential services, including building, maintaining, operating, and upgrading critical infrastructure for central and local governments across New Zealand. To support sustainable growth and business development, Citycare Property planned to modernise its HR processes and systems.
Citycare Property has implemented a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The organisation needed to ensure smooth employee management across all systems—including HR, payroll, and IT—and maintain a consistent, integrated view of its workforce. This connectivity would ensure high data integrity and security standards while supporting efficient onboarding, offboarding, and daily HR operations. Citycare Property partnered with Boomi’s partner, Adaptiv, to identify and implement the solution for this connectivity.

To address Citycare Property’s integration challenges, Adaptiv implemented Boomi Enterprise Platform’s Data Hub and Integration capabilities. This created a single, unified view of each employee across all platforms, introduced a consistent framework, and significantly improved the accuracy and reliability of workforce data changes—from onboarding and role transitions to offboarding—regardless of the platform used. All updates were automatically reflected across HR, payroll, and IT systems, enabling efficient and secure changes without disrupting daily operations. This, in turn, provided a measurable foundation for future growth.

New employee onboarding time was reduced, enabling faster and more efficient system activation. HR processes became smoother and more reliable, with employees experiencing higher satisfaction levels.
