City installs office chiefs

JAKARTA (JP): Governor Sutiyoso has installed Sjahrin
Lumbantoruan as the new head of the City Population Office.

Sjahrin, who replaced Soemarto, was among the nine newly
installed city office heads and three senior officials of the
city administration.

Others installed were Eddy Widodo as the head of the city
office of social services, replacing Emon Setia Sumantri; Yudhi
Suyoto at the sports affairs office, replacing Eddy, and Sjafril
Zainuddin at the parks office, replacing Syamsir Alam.

Hariono Seno will head the funeral office, replacing Sjafril
Zainuddin; Hendarin Ono Saleh at the revenue office, replacing
Abd Wahab Rachmatsjah and Robert P. Silalahi at the museum and
renovation office, replacing Haswidi A Taufik.

Muzahiem Mokhtar was installed as the acting head of the
housing office, replacing Nusmardi, and Masrul Nim as the acting
head of the education and teaching office, replacing Gito Utomo
Purnomo, Antara reported on Tuesday.

Soemarto was installed as secretary of the City Council,
replacing Untung Sutriasno; Gito Utomo Purnomo as head of the
education and training center, replacing Hendarin Ono Saleh, and
M. Amin Djafar as vice chairman of the Jakarta Investment
Coordinating Board, replacing Subana Kusika. (hhr)
