City has new sub contractors

JAKARTA (JP): City administration announced yesterday that 37,602 companies are qualified to be sub-contractors for city projects in 1995.

Harun Al Rasyid, chief of the sub-contractors assessment committee said yesterday that companies which have applied to be the city's sub-contractors can see the announcement at the Jakarta office of the Chamber of Commerce.

He said that 26,730 out of the 37,602 companies are sub- contractors which have worked for the city since 1991, while the remaining 10,872 are new companies.

Harun said that companies which did not pass the qualification process could submit new applications, reported Antara. (mas)
