City Authorities Reprimand Content Creator for Alcohol Sales Video at Mataram Park

The South Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) has reprimanded a TikTok content creator operating the account @icecoldsodaa for making a video that appeared to show the sale of alcoholic beverages at Taman Mataram in Kebayoran Baru, as part of efforts to uphold public order and comfort. “During the filming, park security officers reprimanded and dispersed the content creator,” said South Jakarta Satpol PP Head Nanto Dwi Subekti to reporters in Jakarta on Thursday. Nanto stated the incident occurred on Sunday, 12 July. According to the explanation provided, the video was made solely for content purposes. The video depicted two men engaged in a conversation, posing as a seller and a buyer at a cart stocked with alcoholic beverages and a large glass containing the drink. “The video was taken on Sunday, 12 July 2026, and it was made purely for content,” he said. Following the video, Satpol PP officers from Kebayoran Baru sub-district and Selong urban village gathered information from the park’s security personnel and security staff from the nearby Moroccan Embassy. As of today, no such vending activity has been found following the agency’s investigation, confirming that Taman Mataram is now safe and conducive. “As of today, 16 July 2026, there are no sellers of the kind depicted in the video,” he stated.
