Citilink Passenger Baggage Allowance Reverts to 15 Kilograms
Citilink has reinstated its checked baggage allowance for domestic flights on Airbus A320 routes to 15 kilograms, after it was previously announced to drop to 10 kilograms. “Taking into account travellers’ needs, and as part of our service optimisation strategy, Citilink has now re-established a 15-kilogram checked baggage allowance for domestic route tickets on the A320 fleet,” the airline said in a press release on Thursday, 5 March 2026. The statement noted that passengers who had purchased tickets with a 10-kilogram checked baggage allowance will be automatically adjusted to 15 kilograms. Tashia Scholz, Corporate Secretary & CSR Group Head at PT Citilink Indonesia, said domestic flights using the ATR 72-600 fleet will continue to offer 10 kilograms of checked baggage. Meanwhile, cabin baggage allowances for passengers on all flights using both the A320 and ATR 72-600 fleets remain unchanged at 7 kilograms. “Citilink urges all passengers to be mindful of the cabin baggage they bring to avoid baggage‑handling delays at the airport,” said Tashia. She added that Citilink is committed to continually delivering services that are relevant and responsive to customers’ needs, to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers.
