Citilink ensures fleet airworthiness for Lebaran exodus 2026
Tangerang — National carrier Citilink has confirmed the readiness and operational feasibility of its fleet in preparation for the 2026 Idul Fitri holiday exodus.
Citilink’s Chief Executive Officer Darsito Hendroseputro stated in Tangerang on Saturday that the airline conducts routine inspections as part of its commitment to maintaining reliability and operational readiness.
“As we approach the 2026 Lebaran holiday period, Citilink projects an increase in passenger traffic, requiring comprehensive operational readiness across all service lines,” he said.
The inspection process covers multiple operational areas, including check-in counters, customer service, crew lounges, boarding gates, airside/ramp areas, baggage handling zones, and baggage claim facilities. The airline also checks operational facilities, support equipment, aircraft condition and interior, airworthiness certification, and the readiness of flight crews and other operational personnel.
“These activities ensure all Citilink operations comply with civil aviation standard operating procedures and applicable regulations,” he said.
Should any deficiencies be identified, the relevant units will immediately conduct corrective action to maintain safety standards and service quality for passengers.
Hendroseputro stated that Citilink remains committed to delivering optimal flight services through reliable fleet readiness whilst prioritising safety and security in all operations. “This measure is expected to support smooth operations and provide safe and comfortable air travel experience for all passengers during the Lebaran holiday period,” he said.
