Cirebon Integrated People's School Completed and Begins MPLS, Brantas Abipraya Builds Infrastructure for Future Investment

PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting equal access to national education through the completion of the Integrated Sekolah Rakyat (SRT) in Cirebon Regency.

The presence of the Integrated Sekolah Rakyat in Cirebon Regency is expected to widen access to quality education, particularly for communities in need, whilst also serving as an effort to improve the quality of human resources in the Ciayumajakuning region.

Corporate Secretary of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), Dian Sovana, said the completion of the SRT Cirebon construction is a tangible form of the company’s commitment to delivering quality educational infrastructure that provides direct benefits to the community.

“We are grateful that construction of the Integrated Sekolah Rakyat Cirebon has been completed and it has now entered its operational phase, marked by the start of the School Environment Orientation Period. For Brantas Abipraya, the success of this project is not only about completing the construction work, but also about providing safe, comfortable and quality educational facilities to support the emergence of an excellent next generation of the nation,” said Dian, quoted from his statement on Monday, 3 August 2026.

Entering the operational phase, the school officially began its School Environment Orientation Period (MPLS) activities on Friday (31/7), marking the start of learning activities for students. Previously, on 30 July 2026, students had arrived at the school to complete the registration process. All students then took part in the MPLS series as part of their adaptation to the new learning environment, marking the start of operations at the Integrated Sekolah Rakyat in Cirebon Regency.

By design, the Sekolah Rakyat adopts an integrated boarding school concept with uniform facilities across Indonesia. The educational complex includes primary, junior secondary and senior secondary school buildings, teachers’ apartment blocks, student dormitories, a mosque and multipurpose hall, a canteen and sports facilities such as mini soccer and basketball pitches.

This model is designed to create an integrated learning environment whilst supporting students’ character development. According to Dian, the construction of the Sekolah Rakyat forms part of Brantas Abipraya’s contribution to supporting the government’s agenda of improving human resource quality through the provision of modern, inclusive and sustainable educational infrastructure.

“We believe that building educational infrastructure is a long-term investment in the nation’s future. Brantas Abipraya will continue to deliver its best works, which not only build physical structures but also create genuine social impact by improving the quality of education and equalising learning opportunities for the Indonesian people,” Dian concluded.
