Cirebon completes repairs on 24 road sections; here are the locations
Regency Government of Cirebon through the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (DPUTR) continues to accelerate road infrastructure development across the regency. A total of 24 road sections have been repaired so that their benefits can be felt by the community.
This step forms part of the local government’s efforts to improve road quality in Cirebon Regency. The length of treatment for each road section varies from 175 metres to more than 1 kilometre, with road widths ranging from 3.5 metres to 6 metres. Most of the works are carried out using concrete construction to enhance road strength and durability.
Head of DPUTR Cirebon Regency, Sunanto, said the local government targets the road-condition index to be achieved in Cirebon Regency in 2029 from a total road length of 1,240 kilometres. “We continue to push for accelerated inter-regional infrastructure development to support mobility and economic activity,” he said on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
In addition to relying on the Cirebon Regency APBD, the local government is also seeking budget support from the West Java Provincial Government. “In 2026, there are three regency road sections planned to receive handling assistance from the West Java Provincial Government where this is currently in the DED assistance process. Hopefully this will be realised like in previous years,” Sunanto said.
In addition, DPUTR Cirebon Regency is preparing the third phase of tenders for around 70 work packages. The majority of these packages are valued below Rp1 billion and will continue to use concrete construction.
