Circulating Information of BGN Opening PPPK Stage 3 Selection Turns Out to be Hoax

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has issued a statement regarding information about the opening of Stage 3 Government Employees with Work Agreement (PPPK) recruitment selection circulating on social media. BGN confirms that the information is not accurate and does not originate from any official agency announcement.

The Head of the Human Resources and Organisation Bureau (SDMO) at BGN, Rahman, stressed that the agency has not yet opened Stage 3 PPPK recruitment at this time.

“We need to clarify that BGN has never issued an announcement regarding the opening of Stage 3 PPPK as being circulated. This information is not accurate and does not come from our official channels,” Rahman stated in a statement in Jakarta on Friday, 27 February 2026.

He explained that every recruitment process within BGN always follows applicable mechanisms and regulations, and is publicly announced through official agency communication channels. Rahman urged the public not to be easily influenced by posts attributing information to BGN without verification.

Rahman also cautioned about potential misuse of fake recruitment information for fraud purposes.

“We emphasise that all official government selection processes are free of charge in any form. If any party requests money in the name of BGN recruitment, it is certainly not part of the official process,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Legal and Public Relations Bureau at BGN, Khairul Hidayati, noted that this clarification is important to prevent public anxiety whilst safeguarding the agency’s credibility.

“The spread of false information can harm the public and damage the reputation of a state institution. We urge the public to always verify the accuracy of information before sharing it further,” Hidayati said.

BGN is committed to maintaining transparency in every policy, including staff recruitment. The agency assures the public that should there be future openings for PPPK positions or other recruitment types, announcements will be conveyed officially through BGN’s website and verified social media accounts.

BGN also invites the public to actively combat hoaxes by not spreading information that has not been confirmed. This measure is important for creating a healthy and trustworthy public information space.
