Circular Decree: PKS Proposes Suhud Alynudin as DKI DPRD Chairman to Replace Khoirudin

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A decree (SK) containing a proposal to replace the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Khoirudin, has circulated on messaging services.

In the document, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) is said to propose replacing the Chairman position with Suhud Alynudin.

With this revocation, the previous SK is declared invalid.

“Proposing the replacement of the Chairman of the Jakarta Provincial DPRD, previously held by Khoirudin, with Suhud Alynudin,” reads an excerpt from the circulating SK, quoted on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

In addition, party members appointed in the decision are required to comply with all provisions related to the functions, authority, and duties as DPRD Chairman, as well as a council member and PKS faction member as the party’s mandatary.

However, if errors are found in the future, corrections will be made as appropriate.

“To the Party Members as stated in the Second Dictum above, they are obliged to comply with all regulations concerning the functions, authority, and duties as Chairman of the Regional Representative Council, concurrently as a Council Member and Member of the Prosperous Justice Party Faction as the Party’s Mandatary in the Regional Representative Council,” the letter states.

He considers job rotation to be a normal aspect of internal party dynamics.

“As a cadre party, we follow ‘Sami’na Wa Atho’na’. Whatever the decision from the DPP, we will accept it. So, for example, if I suddenly move from the faction to an ordinary member or even become DPRD Chairman, then rotate with others, that’s normal here, no big issue,” said Taufik on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

He also asked the public to wait for the official party announcement.

“I haven’t seen the physical letter yet. It might be true, it might not. Let’s just wait; usually, there will be an official announcement when the replacement actually happens. Just wait for the announcement,” he said.
