Circle sets up ASPAC unit

SINGAPORE (Reuters): U.S.-based logistics firm Circle
International said yesterday it had set up an automotive
logistics division at its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

"The ASPAC (Asia-Pacific) region provides the largest
opportunity for expansion in the automotive logistics business,"
it said in a statement.

"In order to leverage our experience gained in the U.S. and
Europe we have decided to inject specific resources into Asia in
all facets of the automotive arena," Paul Graham, regional head
of Circle International, said in the statement.
