Cirahong Bridge Becomes Alternative Route for Travellers Between Ciamis and Tasikmalaya

Motorcyclists pass through the southern alternative route beneath the Cirahong Bridge tunnel, which connects Ciamis with Tasikmalaya Regency in West Java, on Monday, 16 March 2026. The two-tiered bridge, featuring a railway line on the upper level and a motorcycle lane on the lower level, has become one of the southern alternative routes between Ciamis and Tasikmalaya being utilised by homebound travellers during the 2026 Eid exodus, as it reduces travel time by one to two hours compared with the main route.
