Ciputra marks 8th anniversary

SEMARANG: The Semarang Ciputra Hotel held a series of activities and promotional events to commemorate its 8th anniversary.

As part of the anniversary events, hotel employees visited and made donations to two orphanages, the Panti Asuhan Sinar Kasih on Jl. Pamularsih in Semarang and the Panti Asuhan Khaira Ummah in the neighboring town of Demak.

A number of fun events were also held, such as a karaoke festival and coloring competition for young children. A special party for hotel employees is also being prepared for December.

On Monday, the hotel launched its super economical prepaid voucher.

"Customers can buy four vouchers for Deluxe rooms at one time, pay in advance and will receive one free voucher as a bonus. In other words, you get five rooms for the price of four," said Director of Sales Wayan Budiarsa.

Wayan also said the voucher also entitled guests to a free drink from the bar. -- JP
