Entering the second week of the 2026 school holiday period (26 June – 6 July), traffic flow on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road has shown an increasing trend. Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications Dept Head of Astra Tol Cipali, Ardam Rafif Trisilo, explained that based on accumulated data over ten days, the total vehicle volume in both directions reached approximately 790,000 vehicles. “This figure has increased by more than 40 percent compared to normal traffic conditions,” Ardam said on Tuesday (7/7/2026). Ardam noted that the highest peak of congestion so far was recorded on Sunday, 5 July 2026, with a total of around 94,000 vehicles passing through in a single day. This number represents an increase of more than 60 percent compared to normal traffic volumes. Meanwhile, traffic flow on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, was observed to be easing and smooth.
