Subang (ANTARA) - The Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road section has returned to normal operations after the implementation of one-way traffic engineering over the past few days to smooth the Lebaran homecoming flow. Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications Department Head of Astra Tol Cipali, Ardam Rafif Trisilo, stated in Subang on Monday that, at the discretion of the police, the national one-way engineering had concluded since early Monday at 02.40 WIB. Accordingly, traffic flow along the entire Cikopo-Palimanan toll road from KM 72 to 188 can now be traversed in both directions or under normal conditions. “Vehicles heading towards Cirebon or towards Jakarta can now pass through the Cipali toll road section,” he said. Astra Tol Cipali urges road users to remain alert and maintain a safe driving distance. Ensure the driver’s physical condition is optimal and take a break at the nearest rest area if feeling tired or drowsy. PT Jasamarga Trans Jawa Tol (JTT), together with the police, consistently monitors vehicle volume developments in the field. Lane normalisation is carried out gradually in line with increasingly conducive traffic conditions, while still prioritising aspects of safety and user comfort. Although traffic flow has returned to normal, JTT ensures all operational services remain on standby, including monitoring through the information control centre and real-time CCTV support along the toll road. In addition, field officers continue to be deployed to anticipate any traffic dynamics that may still occur during the return flow period. JTT urges all road users to plan their journeys well, ensure vehicles are in prime condition, and confirm sufficient electronic money balance before travelling. Road users are also expected to obey signs and directions from field officers.
