Subang — Astra Infra, the operator of the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road, is ensuring the readiness of facilities at seven rest areas along the Cipali toll route throughout the 2026 Eid holiday travel season.

Astra Infra’s Group Chief Executive Officer Firman Yosafat Siregar stated in Subang Regency, West Java, on Tuesday, that seven rest areas are active at kilometre markers 86, 102, 130 and 166 in the Cirebon direction, as well as kilometre markers 164, 130, and 101 in the Jakarta direction, with one additional rest area.

In preparing the rest areas, Astra Infra is ensuring the availability of petrol stations, electric vehicle charging points (SPKLU), toilets, prayer rooms, parking areas, and various dining options. An additional rest area is functional at kilometre marker 77 in the Jakarta direction.

These rest areas are equipped with modular petrol stations, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and additional parking facilities. Astra Infra has also installed over 500 integrated CCTV units supported by seven traffic counter units and a 24-hour communication centre.

To anticipate congestion, Astra Infra Toll Road Cikopo-Palimanan is coordinating with police and stakeholders whilst preparing the necessary infrastructure for traffic management measures.

The company is thus prepared for an estimated 6.8 million vehicles expected to pass through the Astra Infra toll section during the Eid holiday travel period in 2026. This figure represents an increase of approximately 2.1 per cent compared to vehicle traffic volume during the same period in 2025.
