Cipali Toll Rest Area Full? Here’s a List of Safe Alternative Rest Stops!

Several rest areas along the Trans Java toll road are experiencing overload. One of them is the rest area at KM 130 of the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road, where on Thursday from 00.00 to 08.00 WIB, approximately 41,000 vehicles passed through the former Cikopo toll gate towards Cirebon. Due to the overcrowding, some holidaymakers chose to rest on the toll road shoulders located outside the rest areas. Holidaymakers can access alternative rest points outside the Trans Java toll road route. Here is the list of alternative rest points outside the Cipali toll road route: GT Kalijati KM 98, GT Subang KM 110, GT Kertajati KM 158, GT Sumberjaya KM 175, GT Palimanan 2 KM 188. The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) advises holidaymakers to prioritise safety by taking sufficient rest if they have been driving for 3-4 hours.
