Cinema XXI Records Net Profit of IDR 776.2 Billion in 2025
Jakarta — PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (CNMA), operating as Cinema XXI, recorded a net profit of IDR 776.2 billion throughout 2025.
Chief Executive Officer Suryo Suherman noted revenue of IDR 5.9 trillion in 2025, growing 2.6 per cent from IDR 5.7 trillion in 2024, with EBITDA reaching IDR 1.8 trillion.
“Amidst economic and industry dynamics, Cinema XXI has maintained business performance and consistently provided the best viewing experience for film enthusiasts across Indonesia,” Suryo said in a statement on Monday, 9 March 2026.
“The trust and collaboration of all stakeholders has been the primary driver in maintaining the company’s performance,” he added.
Suryo detailed that 2025 performance was supported by ticket sales revenue of IDR 3.6 trillion, food and beverage (F&B) sales of IDR 2 trillion, and other income of IDR 298 billion from advertising, digital platforms, and event organisation.
Throughout 2025, Cinema XXI recorded 85 million viewers with Average Ticket Price (ATP) growth of 3 per cent, reaching IDR 46,057. This increase was driven by improved occupancy in premium studios such as The Premiere and IMAX.
Suryo further confirmed that the company had strengthened F&B segment development as part of its customer experience enhancement strategy. Throughout 2025, Cinema XXI’s internal team successfully developed over 30 new menu items at XXI Café and The Premiere Café, adapting to market trends and preferences.
Additionally, the company implemented a ticketing and F&B bundling strategy through the m.tix application as part of sales strategy optimisation to increase transaction value per customer.
In 2025, average food and beverage spending per viewer (spend per head) increased by 5.9 per cent to IDR 25,814. This reflects strengthening product appeal and increasingly robust contribution to company performance.
On the expansion front, Cinema XXI inaugurated 12 new cinemas and added 43 screens throughout 2025. The expansion included debuts in several new regions, including Indramayu, Pematangsiantar, Magelang, Tuban, and Metro.
