Cimahi Public Service Mall Prepares for Rolling Blackouts
The management of the Public Service Mall (MPP) in Cimahi City is preparing anticipatory measures in response to rolling blackouts that have been occurring in the region over the past week. The facility is heavily dependent on electricity to serve the public.
“So far, thank God, there has been no blackout affecting the MPP, so services have not been disrupted,” said Dadan Darmawan, Head of the Cimahi City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (DPMPTSP), on Friday (19/6/2026).
As a precaution, the management plans to coordinate with the Cimahi City branch of the state electricity company, PLN, regarding the blackout schedule. Dadan expressed hope that if power cuts are necessary in the area, they could be arranged outside of service hours. “I want to communicate with PLN so that if there is a scheduled blackout in this area, perhaps the timing can be adjusted so it does not disrupt service hours, or if it occurs during service hours, the outage is not too long,” he said.
