Deputy Mayor of Cimahi Adhitia Yudisthira has responded to the alleged corruption case in the worker training and productivity programme within the Cimahi City Labour Office (Disnaker). The case emerged following a raid by the Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) on the Disnaker office on Tuesday (21/4/2026). “What happened yesterday, let us all respect the process being carried out by the Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office. As law-abiding citizens, our institution certainly respects it as well,” Adhitia said when contacted on Wednesday (22/4/2026). The Cimahi City Government, according to Adhitia, will definitely adopt a cooperative stance in addressing this legal issue within the Disnaker. He stressed that the alleged case in Disnaker must serve as a warning to prevent similar incidents, given the agency’s crucial role in supporting programmes to enhance human resource quality. “The Cimahi City Government is ready to cooperate with whatever is needed by the prosecutor’s side. We will evaluate together because this is still part of the District Prosecutor’s process, but once again, we respect whatever happens and it will be our joint evaluation material,” Adhitia stated. He mentioned that the alleged case will serve as evaluation material for the local government. Adhitia reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to eradicating corrupt practices within the bureaucracy. The Cimahi City Government assures a comprehensive evaluation alongside the ongoing legal process. “We are certainly very committed to eradicating corruption. Development must run optimally without any gaps,” he said. The Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office is delving into the alleged corruption case in the worker training programme for the 2022-2024 fiscal years within the Cimahi City Labour Office (Disnaker). Investigators have examined witnesses from both civil servants (ASN) and third parties. “As part of the investigation series, we have summoned several witnesses from both the agency and third parties,” said Head of Intelligence Section at Kejari Cimahi, Fajrian Yustiar. However, the number of witnesses is likely to increase, from both ASN in the Cimahi City Disnaker and related third parties in the alleged gratuity case. Kejari Cimahi has not yet named any suspects in the case. “Not yet (any suspects). Witnesses will still increase so that the criminal act can be clarified later,” Fajrian said. To complement the witness statements already examined, Kejari Cimahi investigators conducted a raid at the Cimahi City Disnaker office located in the City Government Office Complex on Jalan Rd. Demang Hardjakusumah on Tuesday (21/4/2026). The raid lasted about five hours. Fajrian revealed that the raid was conducted to gather evidence to uncover the alleged corruption in the worker training and productivity programme for the 2022 to 2024 fiscal years. The alleged corruption is suspected to involve gratuities. “The series of actions by the investigation team is one of the efforts to search for and collect evidence to clarify the alleged criminal act of corruption at the Labour Office for the 2022 to 2024 fiscal years,” Fajrian emphasised. He said that the evidence, consisting of documents and other items, will be analysed by Kejari Cimahi investigators. They plan to apply for seizure at the District Court (PN) to strengthen the evidence in the alleged corruption case. “So earlier, the investigation team successfully gathered evidence in the form of documents amounting to two suitcases. Further examination will be conducted, and we will apply for seizure at the PN,” he said.
