Cimahi District Prosecutors' Office Raids Labour Office over Suspected Corruption in Training Programme

The Cimahi District Prosecutors’ Office raided the City Labour Office. The search was conducted in connection with suspected corruption in the workforce training programme for the 2022-2024 fiscal years.

According to detikJabar, the Special Criminal Investigators arrived at the City Government office on Tuesday (21/4/2026) at 14:00 WIB. The Cimahi District Prosecutors’ Office Special Criminal Investigators left the Labour Office room around 19:00 WIB, carrying several files and items.

“Yes, today we carried out a forced search effort at the City Labour Office in connection with the case of suspected corruption in workforce training for the 2022-2024 fiscal years,” said the Head of the Intelligence Section of the Cimahi District Prosecutors’ Office, Fajrian Yustiardi, when met on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

The suspected corruption related to the workforce training and productivity programme is alleged to involve gratuities. The search was conducted to collect evidence.

“A series of activities by the investigation team is aimed at searching for and gathering evidence to clarify the alleged criminal act of corruption in the form of gratuities at the Cimahi Labour Office for the 2022-2024 fiscal years,” said Fajrian.

The office has not yet disclosed who the suspects are in the case. The seized documents and items will be examined.

“We will apply for seizure to the District Court to strengthen the evidence in the suspected corruption case. Then, we will examine the evidence brought, including the documents in the two suitcases,” said Fajrian.
