The Cimahi City Government has prepared a budget of IDR 2 billion to install dozens of decorative public street lights (PJU) on Jalan Rd. Demang Hardjakusumah this year. Head of the Cimahi Transportation Agency, Endang, stated the installation is planned for the third or fourth quarter and is part of efforts to beautify the area around the municipal office complex. The project will be funded through the 2026 Regional Budget (APBD).

Endang noted that the ideal requirement for street lighting on roads managed by the city government is 3,985 points. Currently, 3,706 points have been installed across all municipal roads, though the distance between some lights is not yet ideal as some are mounted on state electricity company (PLN) poles, resulting in suboptimal illumination. The remaining shortfall of 279 points will be addressed gradually, subject to budget availability.
