Cilegon prepares automatic pumps to tackle Semendaran flooding

Ahead of the rainy season, the Cilegon City Government, in conjunction with the Cilegon City Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR), coordinated with Astra Infra Toll Road Tangerang-Merak on Thursday (3/9) to address frequent flooding in tunnels and culverts located beneath the Serang-Merak tollway, specifically at KM 89 and KM 92.

The Mayor of Cilegon, Robinsar, explained that to manage the Semendaran tunnel, which is prone to flooding, automatic pumps and barricades will be installed by the toll road management to prevent flooding in the area.
