Cilegon Mayor Robinsar has emphasised the importance of transparency in the planning to determination stages of the Cilegon DPRD’s 2027 core policy programme (Pokir). His administration is striving for improvements across all stages.

According to Robinsar, the current achievement figures still need to be elevated, hence ongoing enhancements are being made, particularly in the development planning phase.

“Indeed, when we discuss the numbers, our position is still below average. Therefore, we continue to make improvements, especially in the planning stage,” Robinsar stated in a written release on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

Robinsar revealed that the Financial Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) has appreciated the technical steps taken by the Cilegon City Government (Pemkot).

“This means that many of the stages we undertake technically are already in line with the guidance and expectations,” Robinsar said.

Nevertheless, Robinsar also highlighted the need to improve the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) value from the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPK). He stated that all stages must proceed according to the established channels and schedules.

“This KPK MCP is a focus for us. Its assessment is not just one aspect, but encompasses all stages, from planning, budgeting, to implementation,” Robinsar explained.

Every stage, no matter how small, Robinsar said, plays an important role and must be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

“All processes must be transparent, on time, and according to the mechanism, from planning, budgeting, to determination,” Robinsar asserted.

Furthermore, Robinsar emphasised that the DPRD’s Pokir must align with the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), so that development programmes can run in sync between the executive and legislative branches and meet the needs of the community.

“In that way, the proposed Pokir can truly provide benefits and hit the right targets for the community,” he concluded.
