Cilegon Mayor Robinsar confirmed on Thursday (15/5) that construction of the national strategic project (PSN) for an electric vehicle battery factory owned by PT Chandra Asri Alkali in Cilegon would continue as planned.
Robinsar made the statement in response to a viral Instagram video showing an individual from the Cilegon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) requesting a Rp5 trillion project allocation without a tender process from the foreign entrepreneur responsible for carrying out the project.
