Cilegon Forms TB-Alert Subdistricts, Targets 5,000 Monthly Screenings
The Cilegon City Government has established Tuberculosis Alert Subdistricts across all 43 of its subdistricts as part of an effort to strengthen prevention, case detection, and the acceleration of tuberculosis management within the community. Through this programme, the city administration targets conducting free health screenings for 5,000 residents each month, particularly those showing symptoms indicative of tuberculosis, as a measure to prevent transmission and expedite treatment if positive cases are discovered.
