Cilegon City Government Hosts Cilegon Expo 2026, Culminating on 27 April
The Mayor of Cilegon, Robinsar, officially opened the Cilegon Expo 2026 event held at the Cilegon City Town Square. This activity forms part of the series of celebrations for the 27th anniversary of Cilegon City, which took place joyfully and was attended by people from various regions.
In his speech, Robinsar expressed gratitude for the successful organisation of the event and the enthusiasm of the community present to jointly celebrate Cilegon City’s birthday.
“Good evening, everyone, how are you? Alhamdulillah, tonight we gather in a happy atmosphere to liven up Cilegon City’s 27th Birthday. On behalf of myself and the Cilegon City Government, we thank you all for your presence,” he said in a written statement on Saturday (25/4/2026).
This was conveyed by Robinsar on Friday (24/4). Furthermore, Robinsar stated that the age of 27 is an important momentum for Cilegon City to continue developing towards a better direction.
“The age of 27 years is an age that is sufficiently mature. This is a time to achieve progress and success. May Cilegon City advance further and its people become increasingly prosperous,” he added.
On that occasion, Robinsar also emphasised the importance of synergy between the government and the community in building the region. He stated that the Cilegon City Government is open to various inputs for collective progress.
“Cilegon City belongs to us all. We are very open to criticism, suggestions, and input. A government without community support is nothing. Therefore, we hope for prayers and support so that we can carry out this mandate with full responsibility,” he said.
In addition to serving as an entertainment venue, the Cilegon Expo also acts as a platform to encourage economic growth for the community, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMKM) actors.
Robinsar assessed that this event has a significant economic impact.
“Starting tonight until the peak on 27 April, there will be various entertainments, including performances by musicians such as Ebiet G. Ade and Denny Caknan. In the future, events like this will continue to be enhanced because they have a large multiplier effect, especially for UMKM,” he explained.
Meanwhile, one of the attendees, Rena Budiarti, expressed her hopes for the leadership of the Mayor of Cilegon.
“May you always succeed in guiding Cilegon City, and may Cilegon City become even better,” she said.
The Cilegon Expo 2026 is expected not only to serve as an entertainment facility for the community but also to strengthen togetherness and drive local economic growth.
