Cilacap power plant

JAKARTA (JP): The private company, PT Citra Kartika Daya, in cooperation with investors from Japan and Hong Kong, will build a US$612.8 billion power plant in the industrial town of Cilacap, Central Java.

"Construction will start this year and will be completed in two years," head of the provincial investment coordinating agency (BKPMD), Soedarsono, told newsmen, as reported by Antara here yesterday.

He said the company has met all the requirements stated by the provincial government and has already obtained a license to construct the plant. (bnt)
