Cikarang 'Taufik Hidayat' Case Revealed, Suspect Arrested

A woman became the victim of confinement and assault in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The victim’s body was covered in bruises, and her face sustained injuries believed to be the result of a beating.

The incident reportedly occurred in North Cikarang. The victim was allegedly abused by her boyfriend. The case came to light on Wednesday (8/7/2026) when the victim’s family visited the location and found her in a battered condition, while the perpetrator had already fled.

Following the discovery, the family immediately reported the incident to the Bekasi Metropolitan Police. The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Bekasi Metropolitan Police, AKBP Jerico Lavian, confirmed the report and stated that the police are currently examining witnesses.

Jerico explained that the victim and the perpetrator were in a romantic relationship. Authorities are also investigating the alleged confinement experienced by the victim.

Police revealed that there were two perpetrators involved in the case. One suspect has been arrested, while the other remains at large and is being pursued by officers. The police have not yet disclosed the detailed identities of the suspects or their specific roles in the incident.
