PURWAKARTA, West Java: A collision between a "Primajasa" passenger bus and a van has resulted in the death of a 32-year- old man and caused a standstill in holiday traffic along the Purwakarta-Cikampek route.
The collision which killed Dachlan, the driver of the Suzuki Carry van with license plate B-1068-YA, occurred on Monday afternoon during heavy traffic caused by Christmas holiday makers returning home.
The accident brought traffic to a virtual standstill for nearly three hours in many parts of the 16 kilometer route.
As reported by Antara, traffic from Bandung heading towards the Cikampek highway on Monday evening was still moving at a snail's pace. (mds)
