Cigarette butt sparks big fire

JAKARTA: Smoking is indeed a dangerous habit, as the caretaker
of a toys warehouse in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta found out on
Sunday evening.

The caretaker, who had been smoking, threw his smoldering
cigarette butt to the ground, not realizing that turpentine had
been spilled there.

The fire swiftly gutted the warehouse located on Jl. Raya Puri
Kembangan, but firefighters managed to extinguish it before it
spread to other buildings, the Jakarta Police revealed on Monday.
