Cicaheum Terminal in Bandung Predicts Peak Exodus Traffic on Two Days Before Eid al-Fitr
Bandung — The management of Terminal Cicaheum, a Type A terminal, has stated that it is predicting the peak exodus traffic for Eid al-Fitr 2026 at the terminal will occur on H-2 (two days before Eid al-Fitr).
Asep Supriadi, Head of Terminal Cicaheum in Bandung, stated on Sunday that passenger movement has already become visible from H-6 (six days before Eid) although the increase remains modest compared to ordinary days.
“There is already a noticeable increase and for our prediction of peak exodus traffic, we anticipate it will occur on H-2,” he said.
He explained that in addition to the main peak, the terminal is also preparing for passenger surges on certain specific days during the Eid exodus period.
“There are two peaks that we are anticipating, namely around the 14th to 15th and 18th to 19th,” he stated.
He said the prediction is also based on patterns of exodus traffic from previous years, which showed passenger surges occurring closer to Eid al-Fitr.
“Compared to last year, we are predicting an increase of approximately 15 percent in this year’s exodus traffic,” he said.
