Cibodas Botanical Garden Maintains Unchanged Entrance Ticket Tariffs
Cibodas Botanical Garden (KRC), located in the Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency, West Java, is implementing entrance fees in accordance with central government regulations, which remain unchanged at Rp15,500 on weekdays and Rp25,500 on holidays.
Speaking on Thursday, the Branch Manager of Cibodas Botanical Garden, Dede Dani Rudiansyah, stated that the implementation of Presidential Regulation (PP) Number 13 of 2026, which came into effect early this year, officially maintains the same entrance rates as the previous year.
To improve services and provide legal certainty, entrance fees are now officially regulated under Presidential Regulation Number 13 of 2026 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) for the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
“Specifically, the determination of these educational tourism rates refers to Article 4 of the regulation, which governs the entry fee index for scientific conservation areas under the management of BRIN,” he said.
These tariff provisions are uniform with four other botanical gardens under the auspices of BRIN, including Bogor Botanical Garden, Purwodadi Botanical Garden, and Bali Botanical Garden.
There has been no change or increase in ticket prices from the previous year; it remains Rp15,500 per person on weekdays and Rp25,500 per person on holidays, with various conveniences provided for visiting tourists.
“Cibodas Botanical Garden is an area entirely distinct from the Cibodas Tourism Area, so the official entrance fees have been specifically and formally regulated based on the applicable Presidential Regulation,” he added.
Furthermore, revenue from ticket sales is deposited into the state treasury as official Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) rather than being managed as any other form of levy.
Ticket purchasing services are available through two methods: directly at the official physical counters at the Cibodas Botanical Garden gates, or online via the official website, kebunraya.id.
Online ticket purchases are provided to add convenience for visitors who wish to book in advance, allowing them to simply present digital ticket proof to officers upon arrival at the entrance gate.
“As a scientific conservation area under the management of the National Research and $ ext{Innovation Agency (BRIN),}$ Cibodas Botanical Garden serves five main functions: conservation, research, education, tourism, and environmental services,” he said.
In its operational management, BRIN partners with PT Mitra Natura Raya as the official manager of Cibodas Botanical Garden. PT Mitra Natura Raya has received official certification as a Managing Agency Partner issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
