Cibodas Botanical Garden Maintains Unchanged Entrance Ticket Tariffs
Kebun Raya Cibodas (KRC) in Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency, West Java, is implementing entrance ticket tariffs in accordance with a central government regulation, which remain unchanged at Rp15,500 on regular days and Rp25,500 on holidays. Branch Manager of Kebun Raya Cibodas, Dede Dani Rudiansyah, stated on Thursday that Presidential Regulation No. 13 of 2026 officially came into effect earlier this year, keeping the entrance fee the same as the previous year. To improve service and provide legal certainty, the official ticket tariffs are now governed by Presidential Regulation No. 13 of 2026 concerning the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) tariffs of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Specifically, the determination of this edu-tourism tariff refers to Article 4 of the regulation, which sets the entrance tariff index for scientific conservation areas under BRIN’s management. The tariff provisions apply uniformly to four other botanical gardens under BRIN’s auspices, namely Bogor Botanical Gardens, Purwodadi Botanical Gardens, and Bali Botanical Gardens. Revenue from ticket sales is deposited into the state treasury as official Non-Tax State Revenue, rather than being managed as other levies. Ticket purchasing services are provided through two methods: directly at the physical official counter at the Kebun Raya Cibodas gate, or online via the official website kebunraya.id. As a scientific conservation area under BRIN’s management, Kebun Raya Cibodas serves five main functions: conservation, research, education, tourism, and environmental services. In its operational management, BRIN partners with PT Mitra Natura Raya as the official manager of Kebun Raya Cibodas, which has obtained official certification as a Managing Agency Partner issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
