The construction of the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road continues to advance, with work currently focused on Section 3, which stretches from Cibadak to West Sukabumi. The overall toll road spans 53.15 kilometres and is divided into three sections. Section 1, covering 15.35 kilometres from Ciawi to Cigombong, has been fully operational since December 2018. Section 2, an 11.05-kilometre link between Cigombong and Cibadak, opened in August 2023. Section 3 has a length of 13.70 kilometres and remains under construction. As of 10 June 2026, land acquisition for this final segment has reached 85.80 per cent, while construction progress stands at 81.49 per cent. The Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works accompanied members of House of Representatives Commission V on a specific visit to the Ciawi-Sukabumi project. The agency stated the activity was intended to directly review on-site development progress and to strengthen synergy between the government and stakeholders in supporting the provision of toll road infrastructure.
