Cianjur Regent Reshuffles 'Cabinet', 19 Pratama High Leadership Positions and Administrators in New Posts
Cianjur Regent Mohammad Wahyu Ferdian has reshuffled the staffing structure for Pratama High Leadership Positions (JPT) and administrators, rotating 19 echelon II and III officials. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation Agency (Bapperida) hall in Cianjur Regency on Monday (24/8), with the officials taking up new positions across various regional apparatuses.
Wahyu said the staff rotation was based on several considerations, including job analysis, evaluation, verification, work history, capability and other factors. “That is correct, the rotation was carried out after competency test results were obtained from colleagues. Of course, it has been approved by the governor. That is why the inauguration could be held today,” he said.
He instructed the newly appointed officials to carry out their duties as well as possible, particularly in implementing programmes that directly reach the community. “It must have a direct impact on the community. It must also be able to cut unnecessary bureaucracy, so that the public can receive services more quickly and, of course, on target,” he said.
He also stressed the importance of good coordination and communication between regional apparatuses, noting that no regional apparatus should operate as a one-man show or work in isolation. “Every problem must be solved together. God willing, we will provide the best service to the community. We must work together and cooperate,” Wahyu emphasised.
Several of the rotated JPT Pratama positions are leaders of regional apparatuses that generate regional revenue. The replacement is considered quite speculative as it occurs amid an efficiency drive in the budget and towards the end of the year. “It is not only the head of the regional revenue agency; there are several heads of regional apparatuses for whom we are carrying out a refresh. This is also related to the targets we need to achieve in 2026 and 2027. We hope there will be acceleration in realising development targets in Cianjur Regency,” the regent concluded.
